Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. Cutlia processes your video directly in your browser using WebAssembly and your device's hardware. The file never leaves your computer or phone, so it stays completely private.
Will trimming reduce the video quality?
Not when you keep one part of an MP4 or MOV video: it's copied as it is, and the cut is still exact to the frame. When you remove parts from the middle, or trim a WebM video, the result is re-encoded in high quality — as are older formats like AVI or WMV, once, when they open.
Can I cut a part out of the middle of a video?
Yes. Under “Remove parts”, add a part, then drag its edges on the timeline or type exact times. Remove as many parts as you like — the rest of the video is joined back together into one file.
