Open-Source Licenses

Cutlia runs on open-source work — thank you to everyone who makes it. Project names open each project's website or source code; license names open the license text.

Video processing

The complete source code of FFmpeg, LAME and zlib — exactly the releases built into this site — is published on this site, together with the code that builds and calls them: libav.js’s, Mediabunny’s, and our build scripts and small changes. Start with /source/README.txt (in English): it says which file builds what, with each file’s checksum.

Music library

The songs offered in Add Music to Video, served from this site. Each title opens where the recording and its license come from; the license name opens the license.

How these files differ from the originals: re-encoded as 128 kbps MP3 at 44.1 kHz, volume evened out, silence trimmed from the ends and very short fades added. “William Tell Overture (Finale)” is cut to start at the finale's fanfare, and “Funeral March” ends after the march.
